a skecth for my idea |
| a salesman from the balloon company made a house visit to show me how big the balloons could get. |

on the morning of the installation, we woke up at 5AM. |
| |

|
one by one, we towed out the balloons to thier anchors using a surf board. |

it doesn't look like it but the water was freezing cold and very rough. i took the next 7 pictures with a disposable waterproof camera from the surfboard. |

| then, one by one the balloons started popping. the sun was getting hot and perhaps the air inside them was expanding. it took 5 people and all our strength to haul them in. the piece lasted for all of 6 hours.
